Halifax integrated health clinic — physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage & more.

Physiotherapy at Evolve Integrated Health is delivered by Amanda L. Hodgins and Jagger Statton — two physiotherapists who share an approach built on education and active rehabilitation, supported by hands-on therapy where it helps.
Amanda is dual-licensed in physiotherapy and massage therapy, with a background in Kinesiology and particular interests in musculoskeletal injury, mental health support, and para-sport. Jagger came to physiotherapy from strength and conditioning coaching, having worked with athletes from youth to professional level, and brings that lens to injury rehabilitation and performance.
What makes physiotherapy at Evolve different is the collaborative approach. Our physiotherapists work alongside colleagues in chiropractic, massage therapy and athletic therapy to ensure your care is comprehensive and coordinated. If you cannot come in person, virtual physiotherapy consultations are available — same assessment quality, from anywhere across Nova Scotia.
Our physiotherapists treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Here is what we commonly see in the clinic:

Our physiotherapists take an evidence-based, patient-centered approach. Every treatment plan begins with a thorough initial assessment to understand your condition, your goals, and your movement patterns. From there, your physiotherapist builds a personalized plan combining the techniques and modalities best suited to your needs.
A comprehensive 60-minute examination that includes your health history, detailed physical assessment, movement analysis, and goal setting. Your physiotherapist will explain what they are finding and why before recommending a plan.
Hands-on techniques to restore joint mobility, reduce pain, and improve tissue quality. These include joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and other manual approaches tailored to your comfort level and needs.
Individualized exercise programs designed to strengthen weak areas, restore stability, and prevent re-injury. Programs progress as you improve, building your confidence and capacity step by step.
Integrated shockwave therapy for tendon injuries, plantar fasciitis, and chronic pain conditions. Low-level laser therapy to reduce inflammation and accelerate tissue healing. Both modalities are available as part of your physiotherapy care plan when indicated.
A dedicated assessment and treatment stream for people whose goals are as much about capacity as about pain. Jagger worked as a strength and conditioning coach with athletes from youth to professional level before practising as a physiotherapist, and brings that lens to rehabilitation — building the strength and load tolerance that keeps an injury from returning. A free movement screen is available if you are not sure whether you need treatment or a training change.
Virtual consultations available for initial and follow-up appointments. Same thorough assessment, exercise prescription, and progress monitoring — from the comfort of your home. Available province-wide across Nova Scotia. Learn more about virtual services.
