Originally from Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador, Andrew graduated from Memorial University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, followed by a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2022.
Growing up as a multi-sport athlete, Andrew developed a keen interest in exercise and human movement. From a young age, he dedicated his free time to learning about evidence-based practices to optimize performance and prevent injury. These habits have shaped his approach as a physiotherapist, where he emphasizes the creation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Andrew is particularly passionate about treating and preventing orthopaedic conditions, sport-related injuries, and concussions. He has successfully completed The Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Level 1 certification and is currently pursuing his Dry Needling Level 1 certification.
In his practice, Andrew encourages an active rehabilitation approach, placing a strong emphasis on patient education and personalized exercise prescription. His primary goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and skills they need to manage their conditions independently.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys staying active by going to the gym, exploring the outdoors, and watching hockey. He also values quality time with family and friends. Andrew is excited to bring his expertise to the community and looks forward to helping his patients achieve their health and wellness goals!
