Jenna was born and raised in Whitney Pier, Cape Breton, and has proudly called Halifax home for the past 10 years. Her journey into acupuncture began as a patient—deeply inspired by her own acupuncturist and the profound impact acupuncture had on her health and well-being. That experience sparked a meaningful career change and a passion for helping others heal. As a Black acupuncturist, Jenna is committed to providing inclusive, culturally aware, and compassionate care in a field where representation matters. She strives to create a safe and welcoming space for all patients, particularly those from historically underrepresented communities. Jenna specializes in orthopedic acupuncture and electroacupuncture, with a strong focus on treating both acute and chronic pain conditions. She works with patients experiencing issues such as musculoskeletal injuries, joint pain, back and neck pain, nerve pain, and sports-related injuries. Her treatments are tailored to each individual, combining evidence-informed techniques with a patient-centered approach to support recovery, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life. When she is not working, you can find Jenna either at the gym, reading books, playing video games or causing a ruckus with her best friends.
